    Yes, at least your actually finding the significance of the film instead of just staring at the screen

    Yeah, the movie Sucker Punch has a lot of that, yet no one makes an effort to see it. Such an unfairly reviewed movie.

    I took a film study class in uni this year, it's almost ruined films for me now, aha. Every movie I'm breaking it down into symbols, cliches, themes, historical references, genre patterns... It drives my boyfriend mad.
    It's a unique 'skill', embrace it. But make sure you can break free of the Analysist you, and enjoy a movie now and then.
