I like to watch musicals but none of my close friends are fond of them. There is this one musical I really want to watch so I'm planning on watching it alone.
Is this okay or normal? I've never tried watching a musical by myself so I like to ask if anybody has been in the same position before.
I always go to watch plays on my own. Most of my friends aren't that bothered about them anyway. And the only time i can properly enjoy it is when I don't have to worry about the person I dragged along with me and if they're enjoying it or not.
Totally normal. None of my family members like musicals so I'm always stuck watching them by myself. I'm almost sorry that Sweeney Todd is a musical because neither of my parents will ever know the awesomeness of it based on the fact that the characters sing as they kill people.
Don't ever let anyone hold you back from what you want to do. You don't need someone to sit beside you - mostly in silence anyway.
Very normal. I like watching french films, but usually end up watching them alone.
I'm pretty sure alot of people go alone. Some people probably prefer so as not to be distracted by those who cannot appreciate it.
if you are watching a musical at home then totally fine, if you are going out to the theatre to see one then yeah there is a little of a negative stigma with that.
No one wants to be that creepy person sitting by themselves
