Is it normal to want to win the lottery to give it away

I'm 19,I really want to win the lottery just so I can give it back to my parents/friends/humane society. Is that normal?

I was thinking if I won 100mil I'd give 50mil to the humane society, 5mil to each parent, and 1mil to all my good friends, keep maybe 5mil for myself/future.

Yeah. I can't lie and say I wouldnt treat myself, but I'd personally fly to a foreign country and shell it out. I'm cautious about giving cash to anyone (who knows what its funding), so I'd spend it on housing, water, food and aid. I feel awful for poverished countries, but can't donate to charities. The amount of money they raise every year and the visible progress in these countries don't match up; I eye their expensive TV adverts and Flash-based websites questioningly.

Me too. I'd topslice what is required to keep my animal sanctuary running indefinitely. Of the rest, half can go to where it's most needed, and the other half to where it'll make people most happy.

make sure to invest some of what remains, thay way, you will have it for the rest of your life. Oh, and is that after taxes?

I hope this is normal. I know I would give much of it away to help the people who share my world. Most of my happiness is the result of others being happy.

Oh me too. I really really want to help my friends who are on some very hard times now. They are my first thought.
