Is it normal to want to vacation by myself?

I don't mean an elaborate, exciting trip. I literally mean finding a super nice hotel super close to where I live and just staying there by myself for a night or two. I don't even really want to do anything but watch tv, order room service, and take bubble baths. I enjoy the idea of being off of everyone's radar for just a little while, but I've never met anyone who wants that before.

Travelling alone can be amazing and a real chance for self-discovery. You get to do everything YOU want instead of being pulled along by members of a group who all have different ideas.

Go for it. If people think it's "weird", fuck em, they're not invited anyway.

Think about me here. You could have taken me on holiday, yet, rather than buying 2 tickets, you starved a boy of his youth and stuff. Really this is normal-----------ish

Yes it is. I think everyone should have some free time to themselves once in a while. As a previous poster stated, it's a chance for some self-discovery, and you get to go and do the things you want, when you want.

You have to be alone for some times otherwise you would get crazy... crazier than you are now. I'm a person who loves to be alone.
