Is it normal to want to this problem?

All my life I have been just a little bigger than average. When most people would wear a size six I would be a ten. I've always wanted to lose weight but the right way never works. Is it normal that I want to quit being healthy and be anorexic? Not quite anorexic, because I don't want to die early or anything but just to be smaller than a healthy or normal weight.

The problem is that you're not burning off the amount of calories in exercise compared to that of which you are consuming. This is a common problem most people face. The best way to lose weight is cardio-based exercises such as running, jogging, ellipticals, etc, but keep in mind, you will not start burning off calories until you have been working out for at least 20-25 minutes. A good recommendation is to listen to music as you run and let your mind slip into that to take focus off the actual run. Now working out could make your weight go up, but you will become thinner as muscle is denser and weighs more than fat. Try to run at least 3-4 times per week, this increase in physical activity will also speed up your metabolism. Eventually if you stick with it, you'll be able to eat anything you want and not gain weight.

That's not true. Even while you're sleeping, you're burning calories. But you aren't "working out" while sleeping are you?

If you're healthy, then you're at the right size for your body frame. Keep your chin up, you are beautiful! :)

If you lose weight it'll come off the places you don't want it to first like your boobs, just be happy with who you are, I've fought anorexia, bulemia and self harming 'cause of my weight, it just made me unhappy, I'm at a stage where I feel comfortable about my weight even though I'm not what some would say 'perfect' I'm happy c:

It's normal to want to be thin, or thinner than you are but just stop thinking so much about it. If you're healthy than keep doing what you're doing. Besides, a lot of women who wear size six really want to be smaller too. Body image issues affect everyone.
