No. That's just silly. Either ignore them or beat them at their own game.

That is called online bullying. Depending on what the context though. If its debates that gone bad I not sure it would not always be counted since debates tend to sometimes get very heated. However if someone is just going out of their way to harass the same person than I think its bullying. However bullying only applys to children for some reason.
Good points, but I said wanted to do it, I wasn't gonna do it for real. The thought comforts me that's all. Besides those debaters turn out to be a pack of arrogant assholes who think their invincible and belittle others because of their supposed ''superior views/intellect" and needs either a good thrashing or a factual beadown to bring them to reality.
I'm not saying that their not right sometimes, but they are stupid conceited when they are.
What type of debaters are you talking about? Though I have noticed some debaters who go completely ape shit in a snap even if the debate before that comment was actually calm. Which in that instant I think maybe possibly it could be abuse but I not sure. Like "I don't believe in the healthcare bill and a sound argument" than someone comes in saying "Well you are ignorant and an asshole I hope you rot in hell and go kill yourself...." and just attacks the persons characters and totally derails from what the original topic was. though I think that might count as flaming. Not sure if flaming counts as abuse though. Generally a debate will escalate to the point of name calling. Sometimes its calm till someone with a hair trigger just decides to snap and piss on everyone.
That doesn't make sense. Even if you blew it up they would just get another one.
