Is it normal to want to see through other peoples eyes

One thing I thought would be interesting would be to be able to see what other people are seeing, to literally look through other people's eyes. I would love to be able to close my eyes, concentrate a little, then I would be seeing what someone else sees. does this seem normal?

I suppose it's not that far off empathy. There's that old phrase: Do not judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes. There's some sense in it. The world doesn't solely consist of our own opinion.
