Is it normal to want to run people off the road?

Is it normal to want to beat and or possibly decapitate people who drive like assholes? About three times a week on average I have to keep myself from taking somebody out because they drive like shit. Today I actually began to accelerate to a position to bump a guy off the road. Driving down the highway with my family during whiteout conditions and doing the speed limit this guy was in such a hurry to get to the red light he went to go around me on icy roads and came close to hitting two other drivers in his self important process. As he went by slippin and slidin I really wanted to shove him off the road...but I held back....then as soon as he could he swerved right in front of me and positioned himself roughly 12-16" off my front bumper of my 3/4 ton Yukon XL and then decides to slow down. This is where I started to press down on the accelerator pedal and started to move my wheels slightly to the right to shove this dipshit into the median that has a 50' drop off into a river.....about that time my wife without hearing me verbalize what I was about to do said it wasn't worth it and I slowed down to let this asshat endanger more people. Is it normal to want to rip his head off and shit down his throat? Maybe I should surrender my license before I start killing these people?

Seriously, it is YOU with the problem. The world is full of idiots and maniacs. Idiots are the ones going slower than you and Maniacs the ones travelling faster than you. If you look at it from their point of view... which one are you, idiot or maniac?
Everyone believes they are the best driver and everyone else are idiots... but we can't all be correct.
The best approach to take is just to sit back and laugh at the uneducated fools. If you are better than them why are you getting irate?
When you get pissed off, YOU are getting pissed off not the offending driver. Why make yourself angry? Instead smile at them, all the time knowing... YOU are the one who's correct (and better).

When I say sit back, I mean sit back. When this guy pulled in front of you, you should have slowed gradually increasing the gap between you to 20 seconds in icy conditions.

That's what a good driver would have done.

You got angry, this is called Red Mist. You suffer from it. Do research and attend therapy if necessary.

No, it is not normal to regularly want to cause other people bodily injury, ect (without their consent anyway).
You clearly have self control despite your anger, however if you are genuinely worried that you might hurt someone then you should seek some real counseling. It sounds like the issue here is your anger that you have kept pent up, so I'd suggest doing anger management or something along those lines.
