Is it normal to want to marry someone this soon?

This is a little bit long, so i apologize in advance.

Alright so heres the deal.
I've been with my man for about 4 months now, and I have known him since highschool. So to get technical, I have known him a little under 10 years.
He has a beautiful little girl, and he is absoloutley wonderful. I have been battling severe depression for a many number of years, and while he does not fully understand exactly how I feel, he does anything he can to try to help. Hell he sent me a ton of flowers the other day because he wanted to make me smile.
Anyway, heres the thing im a little confused about.
he and I have discussed marriage several times, and while its only been a few months, if he was to ask me tomorrow to marry him, I would say yes in a heartbeat.
I honestly feel like he is the man I am meant to be with for the rest of my life.
he is a wonderful and devoted father, he is a loving and kind man. I guess my question is, is that normal to want to marry someone this soon?
Hell, I feel like my aunt haha. She got married 2 months into her relationship and has been happily married for 32 years haha.

    Well you have to follow your heart and well ive been with the girlfriend for almost 10 months and I would have married her after 2 months and still do it anyday. When you feel that you have a person that completes you and everything seems right go for it if the feelings are mutual.

    I want to marry him because he is an amazingly kind man.
    he treats me with the upmost respect, and he gets along very well with my family, hes the kind of man every woman dreams of meeting.

    I'll never understand with people's obsession with marriage.

    It's not necessary and it often ends in divorce.

    I guess the real question here is *why* do you want to marry him?

    To be honest, it all depends on if you and this guy really are suited enough to be happily married for the rest of your lives. My boyfriend and I fell inlove after our very first date and I knew he was the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. I moved in with him after we had been together for a month and we just celebrated our one year and one month anniversary yesterday.

    One of our close friends, however, dated a guy for almost 4 years before they grew apart and broke up. Everyone including her thought they were going to be together forever and then one day BAM, he leaves her. My mother dated a guy for 10 years and one day they got into a fight, broke up and never spoke again. She's engaged now to another guy who she's been seing for alittle over a year, closer to two years I think.

    Anyway, my point is, it really all depends. You can't ask a bunch of people on the internet, because not even you will know until time goes by.

    I think it is normal to want to however that doesn't mean you need to jump right into it (completely up to the both of you though) but if its true love it will still be true love after a year together just make sure its the real deal divorces can be messy.

    I'm not the most experienced woman when it comes to relationships, I mean yes I've had my fair share dont get me wrong, but I've never made it longer then a month with most of them because it didnt feel right. But this one feels alot different. I truly do feel he is the man im meant to be with.

      You're doing it wrong.

      Crysades is so 1 month ago. I don't even mind him/her, anymore.

      Dub in "IIN Community" and you will have better results.
