Is it normal to want to lose weight but not work out

All I Want to do is lose ten pounds. I think about it all the time. So why don't I work out and try to lose the weight? Lazy but I really Want this so why do I not constantly work out if I want it this badly? Anyone that works out alot that can put me in the right frame of mind to actually do something?? Oh I'm 5"10 and 127 pounds. Any good ideas?

    You're too skinny. Please don't lose any weight. I'm the same weight but 5'4. I'm at absolute normal weight and you should actually GAIN some if you don't want to look like a stick.

    But as everyone else said: You're too skinny, you don't need to loose weight.
    You need to excersice to stay healthy, but not to loose weight

    You're 5'10 and weigh 127? Why would you want to loose ten pounds? Idk your body type, but even as a girl I think that curvy girls are the most beautiful girls. You are not fat or even just a tudge overweight.

    Like everyone else has stated, you clearly don't need to lose weight. But excercise is healthy and is good for you either way. as for getting yourself in the right frame of mind, if your going to the gym set a specific time to be there for and stick to it, also music is an awesome motivator for some, it is also proven that the color red makes you energized so try dressing in red or incorperating it into your background.

    I'm 5'7" and wish I could weigh 127 lbs again!! I'd be a lot happier. Instead, I feel like a big fat cow at 134 :(

    take a walk everyday for one mile and go out dancin on the weekends o and eat like 3,000 calories a day that ought to do it

    i suggest you view a weight indicator for your height, because I assure you I know the answer and your body will go into starvation mode if it loses any weight from your 127 body.

    Fact: unless you wish to become ill and cause your body damage (which you will if you starve yourself which is the only way you will lose weight without activity btw) you need to learn a basic premise in life...
    all things worth having require some assistance on your part. if your body no longer works than buying skinny jeans wont be your biggest concern.

    consult a dietician. if you eat properly than you can lose weight without even a little bit of activity or excercise.

    Yes it's normal to want to loose but not work out. But at your current weight loosing more probably wouldn't be healthy for you. So that end of it is not normal.

    Okay the act itself is normal most people don't want to work out to lose weight, however at your height and weight you shouldn't need to lose more weight. Your body might not be letting you because it feels comfortable at this natural weight and needs all the nutrients you already put in it.
