Is it normal to want to lose 40 pounds in 2 months?
I'm only overweight by 10 pounds, but I want to be very thin.
Thanks!

Good luck!!! I want to lose weight too! The trick is keeping it off though!
It's a normal thought, although not very clever. If you want to be slimmer and healthier you shouldn't make a particular weight or amount of calories your target. Most people that strive to reach their target weight often gain more weight after doing so.
Instead you should make a particular lifestyle your target, one that involves eating only when you're hungry, drinking plenty of water, getting enough movement and exercise, not snacking for the sake of it and not eating while watching tv.
It worked for me, honest. Try starting by writing down every thing you eat, why you're eating it and how it makes you feel after doing so. You'll then come to lead a more healthier lifestyle in which you not only reach your target, you maintain it too.
Me too! I mean I wanna lose like 30 pounds. If I lost 40, that would put me under 100, and that probably wouldn't be good for someone who's 5'7"!
And how are you going to keep this weight off?
People who are into losing weight fast are more likely to gain it back same as fast. You need something healthier and more stable, something that you can see yourself acquiring as a habit.
