Is it normal to want to listen to soothing music when having sex?

I like jacking off, And i like sex, Its a given, But even though that's good and all with my Partener, I was thinking if it'd be okay to play some softer, soothing music in the background while we go at it. A few days ago we went ahead and did it and i set up an entire track of soft music that both of us like and it was great but i was wondering if any other people would consider that a normal-ish thing or something really Wierd, Knowing we're not alone in this would be nice.     Lots of music from the 80's "hair bands" Twisted Sister, Van Halen, Def Leopard, etc. have music that falls into the category what your looking for. Also Air Supply, Richard Marx, and many many other "Easy or Soft Rock" that would really enhance the mood. I'm not able to think of other bands right off hand.

    I like all kinds of music for sex. Anything from metal to like new agey stuff. For relaxing I like Delerium and Enigma stuff like that.
