Everytime I walk into home depot or lowes, that smell makes me want to drop to my knees and lick the floor. The only reasson I don't is because it is a floor and nasty. There is something about the smell of sawdust and cement. I also love the smell of basments and garages. That musky damp cement smell. I have had my iron levels tested. It isn't that. I have even told several people that I have this thought. Evryone thinks I'm wired. Am I alone? I mean I start to salivate when I smell it.

    I love the smell of home depot, but not enough to lick the floor. I laughed soooo hard at this!!!!

    i know what you mean! my whole life i loved the smell of my basement, i would sleep down there. then was i was 14 my dad got caught growing weed...in our basement. so i guess weed is just good.

    I like the smell of basements and wood. I even love the smell that comes from the ball machines at bowling alleys.

    But I never have had the desire to lick a floor. o_o

    Just do it quickly and don't let anyone see you. You should lick different aisles to see which strip of floor tastes the best

    You're not alone! When I was little I would sit and smell the inside of the cabinet under the kitchen sink. I used to lick rocks too- don't do that anymore but still love that musty smell of the kitchen sink cabinet ^_^
