There is this guy at my school who has had a major crush on me for 5 years now. He is going to be leaving in June for the military and he still hasn't had his first kiss yet. Would it be wrong or mean if I kissed him out of sympathy? He has always been so dedicated to me in a pathetic kind of cute way, but it would be my first kiss and I don't really like him in that way. Yet I feel like I should do it, is it normal to want to do this? Should I do this?

    Please, please don't. It'll hurt him infinitely more when he finds out you're not interested. You'd also be wasting your first kiss on someone you don't like in that way.

    It's normal, but you shouldn't do it, because it might make him think you feel something for him, and that's sad.

    Don't kiss him unless you have feelings too. It might sound like you're being nice, but he could easily see more in the kiss and he could be lead on.

    Not unless you really like him. It's normal, but do not do it. I think people, especially a male going into the military, wouldn't want your sympathy or pity.

    I think it would be better to tell him that you don't like hi that way but you do want your first kiss with him. It would be a good luck and a thanks for everything kiss. Do it but make sure he knows how you feel.
