Is it normal to want to kill my key worker?

I've been under the care of a mental health team for almost 6 years now and recently I've had assigned a new keyworker. I usually have this guy who picks me up from home to check up on me,but all this he ever does is talk about himself and God. He never asks about me and he never turns up on time or sometimes he won't turn up at all. It's starting to piss me off and I've been working on a plan to kill him.

    I know it takes a long time but just call your CMHT and demand a new key worker .. I once really didn't get along with one of my workers and they stopped him coming and sent a temp until there was somebody else available .. not worth getting locked up for when there's simple solutions.

    That sounds infuriating. I am sorry this happened to you. I know I'd be pissed. I would advise working with your medical team to find a better fit.

        I'm sure OP is well aware there are far worse people in prison than this key worker.

    Ask for a new key worker.
    This guy seems to be a bit of a boaster, and a late run person.
    Seriously, if he's supposed to help you and make sure you are ok then he should do his job the way it's supposed to be done; not boast about himself and someone else that's no related to your situation.

    Here's a theory that's not so crazy: Maybe people enter the mental health field because they have a history of psychological difficulties. Perhaps they're trying to understand or overcome their own problems, which would give us a pool of therapists who are a hit unusual to begin with. That alone could account for the image of the Crazy Shrink. do they deserve the death penalty by you? no.

    That's an awful situation! Your new key worker sounds like a bit of a narcissist. Is there someone higher up that you can file a complaint with?
