Is it normal to want to kill my dog for eating my bacon

I was feeding my cat and left my bacon on the table. I trusted that she recognized me as alpha and would not touch it. But when I came back the bacon was on the floor and her tail tucked while eating. I know she knows better and I know shes an animal but I took this personal. I got so fucking mad. I'll spare you the details. I never wanted to kill an animal so much and it's been a day since then. I really want to kill her.

    Dog behaviour isn't based on morals. It's based on contingency. If you want your dog not to eat bacon you need to reward him everytime he abstains from eating it.
