Is it normal to want to jump into a body of water fully clothed?

I am not suicidal and I don't swim like a fish. I think it would feel really good. It can be any body of water; The Hudson River while I'm on a ferry or off a bridge in my car or sitting on a dock or even in a plane going over the ocean or a lake. It's pretty strong but I have only done it once while already swimming. I think it has to do with really pleasant dreams I had a kid (also the way I'd put myself to sleep). I dreamed that I was swimming in a shallow lake and skimming the bottom and everything was sandy brown and sunny and I saw little fish and the little stones with my face close to the bottom. I actually used to do that on vacation when I was a little kid. Is it normal?

Nothing wrong with wanting to wear your clothes in swimming. Just make sure you're talking about just splashing around and playing in the water. Wearing them for "endurance" swimming is not easy.
