Is it normal to want to hang out with your neighbors?

Back in the good old days (even before I was born) people used to be friendly with their neighbours. There was a great community spirit that has gone from today's society. Well done for keeping the tradition going!

I think it's a great idea to know your neighbors, so in case of any kind of emergency you're already acquainted. Plus if you end up being friends they're conveniently close.

we have some we like here... but we also have some that we just don't seem to mesh well with so we don't talk to them as much

I don't think anybody should be allowed to live near me. I'm dangerous.

Well one of the neighbors I used to talk to don't talk to me anymore because she was after my little brother and it didn't work out soo...

And my neighbor on the other side don't live there anymore as she's in the mental asylum because she's bipolar and switched on her husband.

I once had good neighbors though...I had a lot of fun with them and we would share a lot of stuff. :)

If you would hang out with them normally, sure, they are just random people who happen to live in your vicinity.

I personally have no interest in mixing with *my* neighbors.

Hahaha, nay-brrrs. That's how I feel. We've always had snotty or nosey or jerky neighbors. Maybe it because we're a lot younger than them they think they can give us a hard time. I don't know why. We're quiet, we mind our own business, we keep the yard really nice, etc. They may be intimidated by our awesomness
