  • Sounds like it is time to downsize and minimize. Get yourself into a situation that you actually can afford, even if it means you have to move to a trailer park. The only think that will truly suffer is your pride but it is not worth wanting to give up.

Ok maybe don't give up , just down grade your life. Live a simpler life that costs less. That's the best decision. Don't give up just try to live within the budget you have as you look for a better job to earn more.
Everyone has these problems and if not exact problems -- they still have problems.
    Prayer helps too.

Im not talking about suicide. Im talking about just letting everything go. Let them come take my car and house and just say screw it.

So much for what I said earlier , what a great idea boo, some areas you can even let out your garage.
Houses for 9k n 10k badman , Jesus wish that was doable round here .
But I hear what your saying , and not a bad idea spose it depends on how and with what he'd come out of it with. That's sort of what I did this time round too. I bought another place 3 yrs ago and I realized I'd over reached and it was gonna take yrs and yrs to get any peace so I had an opportunity to get out early and took it.
My new place was 1/3 the price of the old one and while I was looking for it another real cheapy came up and I bought that too on two titles, so in effect I've now got 3- hu no wonder I'm stressed. Nah it's the payments on that real cheapy that are killing me actually. Hope to get it rentable this spring though and then that rent will ease things right up for me hopefully covering it's repayments.

Why don't you sublet/rent rooms out, if that's possible? May be a way of getting in cash.

I've felt like that and been so down and out a few times.
But it all depends , there's so many things anyone helping need to know before they can really be of any help.
Like , can you sell ,would there be any equity =cash in your pocket left after you sold and payed everything out, could you get on top of things sticking with it if you did talk to the banks and stuff and they are willing to work something out with you, how much do you like the house itself , hows your credit rating and future restarting and getting a new loan down the track for another place going to look if you do quit.
and all this kinds of stuff.
I'm pretty tightly stretched right now to , and after struggling for 2 yrs like you wouldn't believe to get in the door , lately I really wonder because it's proving really hard to keep up right now, really hard.
And , it turns out also that I don't like the spot much at all.
But if I walk I'd lose a fortune in future equity when I finish doing the place up and prices come back , I'd also ruin any future loan prospects for about 10 yrs, and I'd be no where once again , even worse than no where because I couldn't get ay finance for yrs then to restart and - I'd lose every cent I put into getting this place and spent on it since. So I don't have a choice it's either soldier on or wreck my life.
And besides , it is a roof over my head at least and it's my roof so I'm hanging in there it's doable only just but it is and will get a lot easier in 12-18mths.

    Talk to your debtors.
You may be able to postpone 'other bills' to get your mortgage up to date.
    Good luck.
