Im a straight male, but I hate having pubes, I'm a bit of a clean freak, I want to get waxed but not sure how or if I should, is it normal and how do I do this?? Please help :)
It's there for a reason, man. It cuts down friction during intercourse. Trim it short with the trimmer on your electric shaver if it bothers you.
If you do get it waxed, it would be better to go to a reputable place. In places like salons, waxes are a hotbed for bacteria and STDs. Think about it this way: the stick goes in the wax and is put on your genitals and then it's put back in the wax. Another customer comes along and also requests that their genitalia be waxed. The process then repeats itself! Even if the place is reputable ask them to what lengths they go to to prevent the spread of STDs/infections from waxing. If you aren't satisfied with the info, you could buy the wax and do it yourself or get a trusted friend to do it for you. How painful it is depends on pain tolerance and where you are doing the waxing. You don't have to use wax. I've used a product where you rub off the hair in circular motion with a pad and one that was a cream. With the cream you let it sit on hair for a few minutes and then wipe it off. Before I forget, there's also laser hair removal.
