Is it normal to want to get drunk every time im around a guy i like?

So I've been talking to this guy for about almost a year now and he's my brothers friend.I feel more comfortable when Ive had some drinks. I just feel more open and loosend up. Is this normal?

    yes, its good that you realize it so that you can gradually move away from that, I was the same way, I drank to remove inhibitions and to achieve ridicuolous confidence, once I realized it, I gradually stopped drinking to get past it

    Its normal but the reasoning behind it sucks basically you get drunk so if anything should happen you can blame it on the alcohol I've met tons of girls that do the exact same thing
