Is it normal to want to gain weight?

I'm very underweight for the normal range in my age group and people are constantley calling me anorexic or bullemic...when in reality i eat like a cow! I'm just naturally skinny and I'm an athlete.

  • If you are healthy then why force it? Who knows maybe being a "normal" weight might not be healthy for you if you are naturally thin. My dad is 5'6 and 145 lbs and he has high cholesterol. He used to be thinner when he was young. I am thin too and healthy

Whether your fat or super skinny, it can be difficult to not fit in physically. I say be happy with yourself, as long as youre healthy..theres nothing wrong with it.

I was underweight as a teen, but now in my 40's I have to diet and exercise to to keep the weight off. You probably have a high matalbalism. It will slow down as you get older, and you will start to gain weight.
