Is it normal to want to find someone in an actually place not online?

Im an OTR truck driver of 25 yrs of age. Ive been marrieed and divorced and I have a daughter. Because of my job, Im all over the place. I dont get many chances to interact with people. But I want to find a good woman who will accept me for who I am and what Ive been through, wont judge me. But I want to finder her the old fashioned way, however, nowadays, in order to find someone its better on line. I dont want to do the online dating. I want that old feeling of walkin up but swept by surprise with the look in our eyes and start dating the real way, not this online bullshit. but everyone finds their love online.... what should I do?

Whatever chance you get for interaction, take it. Be polite to everyone and maybe someone will notice.

Go to a gay bar. You sound like a queer to me.

Totally normal. I think the online dating thing can be dangerous. Face to face meets are usually better.

I'm with Anime7 and Justsomejerk. You might just meet someone unexpectedly while you're running errands. You never know! Good luck!

Good for you! In your position I would DEFINITELY not do online dating. Be yourself, and don't forget your daughter.

Certainly normal. There's no comparison between flirting with a woman in real life and chatting while looking at her static picture.

Even single women have to buy groceries. Become the chivalrous shopper.
