Is it normal to want to dye my hair gray?

My wife says she's actually turned on by the "frosty" look. I'm 36. I'm not ready to go gray yet. However my sideburns and a little bit around my ears are naturally gray already. Ugh! That sucks! Anyway, she also misses my facial hair. I shaved it a few years ago due to a comfort thing. I was sick of the hair on my face. At one time, I had a pretty thick beard snd mustache. However, if I decide to grow my facial hair back, I'm contemplating dying it gray so it will look good for her. Brown and blonde hair dye seem pretty normal for people trying to AVOID gray hair but I've never heard of anyone dying their hair gray on purpose! However, in addition to dying my facial hair gray, I'm thinking of having my hair stylist do some on my head as well to make my brown hair have even more of that frosty look. She says on men, the grayish facial hair and gray hair on their head is real sexy. Therefore, is it normal that I want to dye my hair gray?
