Is it normal to want to do nice things for women

i really enjoy being nice to women like holding doors open giving surprise gifts once in a while cooking for her trying to be romantic and telling her how much she means to me when dating giving her my jacket if shes cold you know old fashioned gentleman stuff i dont believe in being a jackass to women especially if im dating is this normal to long to do
these things for a woman
