Is it normal to want to die?

My mom is abusive, my brother is the same. The girl I really fell for won't date me because I'm not out. I am just done fighting. I probably won't do anything, but I just feel this way. I can't tell my mom, she would tell me it's for attention. (My dad died of suicide when i was 9)

Be patient, this will pass, I PROMISE IT WILL. You won't always be single and stuck in your family. I don't need to add any more bc gypsysailor said it all

I've been through it myself and at a lot more advanced age than you seem to be and most bad feelings to pass or at least become less overwhelming. Hang in there, glad if I helped

Dying won't solve anything. Time will.
There will be lots of other girls and you can get away from your family when you finish school, never to see them again, if that is your wish.
Stay strong and get through this. Then you can have a life that is the stuff of dreams, if you want.

I was once was on medication where I experienced suicidalthoughts and tendencies and decided to walk out into the street and almost got runover by a car. It was a horrible feeling but life got much better snd i met the right people and feel much better now.

Its much easier to think negative thoughts over positive ones but I believe you can do it :)

It really is a horrible feeling but death is not the answer. You feel like no one understands you. There are people that are willing to listen.

I was in a bad place where i had to ask myself what is the point i was ready to leave this place all i saw everywhere was misery and pain. I felt like there was no escape the bad days outweighed the good I felt ashamed to even talk to anyone about it. My family are the people that bought me back from the brink they were so understanding.

I know it is so much easier said than done. I really had to give my all to sum up the courage to let someone know i needed help. Now i am not saying that you will instantly feel better lord knows i still have my bad days but i take them as they come one day at a time.

I really hope you feel better.

Wouldn't they be asking you for a doctor's letter anyway regarding your general health? If so, surely you could go to a new doctor for a general checkup? If not I'd keep quiet and keep taking your medication: it shouldn't be too hard to do that without them noticing

How are you so sure that dying will be a better alternative. It's a bit of a gamble. Best course of action is to wait and die in the natural course of things, then and ONLY then make an informed decision if you really want to die or not. In the meantime take good note of all the other posters' comments.

I really swear, hang in there, your brain matures around 24-25 years old and then you really do feel better. Plus if you are underage, tell someone at school about your mom and brother and your feelings of wanting to die. It can get better you just have to ask for help. Hang in there.

You can only die once but you can be hurt many times you wouldn't want to miss all of that.

Edit... wait that didn't sound encouraging.
