Is it normal to want to die?

Lately I would like to die. Not to kill myself, just to die. Is it normal to feel this way?

    I do this too, sometimes. Most of the time, I'll have a inner battle with myself on whether or not to commit suicide. I never do though... If not suicidal, than maybe your just depressed? Talk to someone about it.

    Normal, you'll get over it eventually.
    ...Or you might just fall into a deep depression. In that case, you would need to talk to a therapist, but still normal.

    I used to pray not to wake up in the mornings when I was a teenager living at home.

    However, please be assured that this phase will pass once you have more control of your own life. One day you will look back and wonder how you could've ever thought that. Honestly!!

    I don't think it is normal but I have found myself feeling like this before.
    It's a weird feeling, Not really sad or angry or anything, just thinking about dying.

    I've had that in the tougher times of my life. Never consistently for a long time, but either way avoid consuming alcohol in periods when you feel that way it can be dangerous.
    Find out what is bothering you, do you have anxiety, apathy, trouble doing the things you intend, sadness, abuse drugs? There are diverse solutions do not hesitate to seek help, the doctor keeps your information confidential and even mild seeming mental health issues can bring great relief once treated.
