Is it normal to want to cheat on my girlfriend? I'm just being honest. Really this a question for other guys. I love my girlfriend but can't help but think of other girls, is it just my animal instincts?
it's called growing up and learning about choices and consequences.
Why not consider..
1) What will happen if you cheat
will you bring back STDs to her? How will she react when she finds out? (and yes she'll probably find out, even if you think she doesn't know)
2) How will you feel if SHE cheats on you?
I agree with the first comment, you need to grow up and learn some things. I'm not trying to be 'mean' here but if you need to be asking this, then you are probably not ready for a relationship.
It's not that you can't look at other girls (that would be normal) it's that you have an urge to cheat on your girlfriend. This means that something is wrong or missing in your current relationship, or you are not mature enough to handle it yet. No, it's not normal.
Thanks for the input, but I am a grown up, and if I'm not ready or am ready is out of the question I'm in the relationship and have been for several years, I agree I do think something is missing in my relationship, but instead of giving up I think it would be best to try, thanks for answering my question
Men have strong urges all the time. It's completely normal to want other people. But it's not normal to actually go for it nor is it okay to insinuate to another woman that you want to sleep with her. Just don't allow yourself to be put in those situations and uh, 'get it out' before you are around other women so you have a clear head. (No pun intended.)
I'm female, I just wanted to say I'm kinda like that. The thought of cheating on my boyfriend sound pretty hot to me sometimes to, but for me I think it's the actually act of cheating that turns me on. Knowing that I'm doing something devilish againts my bf's back with a hot guy. All in all, no one want so be tied down to one person. Everybody wants to be free, so yeah, it's normal.
I think its normal for males to feel this way, we are meant to spread our seed, woman are meant to have babies. Sex for men is a physical thing, for women its a mental thing.
I've always kinda wondered if I'd want to cheat if I was more attracted to my GF. I think I still would, but not as much.
Sometimes I feel the same way. Many girls also do the same thing (I've talked to many girls about it (mostly friends, but my current girlfriend is very open about things) and while they are simply less likely to admit it, they admit that it is the same for them.) simply because it is a basic human want. Sex is the driving force in people, but simply because you feel an "animal" urge doesn't mean you'll act on it. If you don't act upon it, then it doesn't matter (in this situation) as long as you care about your girlfriend. Hope I helped
its evolutionary and well studied, lucky for us sex with multiple partners is only a benefit for men which means the lady probably won't be thinking the same way unless she has a problem with you.
I've cheated many times but stopped as I got older, it can be pretty exciting you'll probably do it sometime.

Unfortunately...sometimes us males are improperly wired..we sometimes believe the "grass is greener" with another woman..What triggers this urge is usually pretty petty(i.e. our girlfriend has been under stress at work and/or home and is too emotionally/physically exhausted to pay proper attention to our needs)
On surface...window shopping is always intriguing....but buying(cheating)is price which no one can afford...
I hear ya, I've come to a conclusion about woman. They like us men, all have problems, and though I do think man it would be easier with another it wouldn't they also have problems, and since I've been with my girlfriend for six years for me to throw that away for another woman and have to start all over would be down right dumb. So though my instincts tell me to spread my seed, its much more civilized to fight it and be commited. And I feel like a better person because of this.
being a female, I can say it is not just men that are this way. I don't want to cheat, but I also have these urges to have sex with another man because it would feel different.
It's normal to be attracted to other people, yes. But if your at a point where you feel you need to cheat or can't control your animalistic hormones, end the relationship and fulfill your needs.
I know that woman believe its wrong to even think about it but I was wondering if other men think this way too
If you honestly want to cheat on your girlfriend, then you don't love her. Sorry, but you don't.
I appreciate the comments. I don't mean to be mean, but I didn't ask is it ok to cheat I asked is ok to want to cheat, I didn't do it nor do I think I would, but I just have the urge to want to. There is a big difference I haven't given in just wondering how other guys are, if they have the same urge
