Is it normal to want to break up when my girlfriend is pessimistic?

My girlfriend is constantly pessimistic. over the last few months she became less pessimistic and things went well for a long time, but i started to get agitated by her behaviour more and more lately. lately she begins to fall in her old rythm and spiral of pessimistic behaviour and it became so bad that i feel like i want to break up because it's afflicting me aswell.

Is it normal to want to break up when my girlfriend is constantly depressed and pessimistic, and she influences my optimism with it aswell?

My gf is also pessimistic and its very irritating wen I am kinda streesed abt my own exams..But I pull her up rather than letting myself fall into pessimism.

Normal. It's difficult to enjoy life when you have to accommodate someone that can't get over themselves long enough to enjoy it themselves.

You should break up and tell her you sincerly think she needs help and you hope she heals (because she might have anger issues or depression or anxiety or whatsoever...). You should not stay with her if you feel like breaking up everytime. If your love for her was strong you would not be thinking about breaking up with her but helping. So if you want a happy relationship i suggest you break up. Good luck though.

If your personalities don't match, or she doesn't make you happy anymore, that is a reason to break up. Your girlfriend should be somebody that you are happy with, otherwise you have not found the right girl.
