Is it normal to want to break a bone

I have always wanted to break a bone at school because I want people to feel bad for me.... I must sound so selfish and mean

I've wanted to do that before. I'd imagine myself broken and helpless in a forest....or passed out...I loved it. I wanted the attention.

Do you know that saying "be careful what you wish for"? ;) it's normal to want the attention I guess, but it may not be the kind you are looking for. My son is 12 and recently broke his femur. He is in a wheelchair most of the time anyway because he has muscular dystrophy. He would much rather not have any attention at all then go thru any more pain. Maybe some sort of positive attention is what you are looking for?

Btw, this was in the UK, so I had no medical bills, because healthcare goes on the taxpayer in the UK.

I always wanted to beforw I did, because it seemed like everybody else had and it felt as though thwy were bragging about it, even though they weren't. Then I fractured my left-hand middle finger, pretty much the least cool break ever, but it was good enough for me and I milked all the sympathy that I could.

Um I was the same way until I broke my wrist by falling out of a tree.. I got so much attention! It was awesome. But the pain you have to go through is not worth it. And the medical bills you have to pay is not worth it either.. Plus when I fell my girlfriend was by me and she felt really bad and started crying so I guess that was so worth it?

How old are you? Im a little confused, still climbing in trees and having to pay your own medical bills? Well its usually not a combo I see.
