Is it normal to want to bifurcate your tongue?

I really want to surgically bifurcate my tongue, like, really bad. It would feel so cool and I'm sure I would love it. However, I can not possibly imagine myself actually doing it because I don't want to be seen with a split tongue... at least by people I know. If I got it done and I moved to where nobody knew me, I'd be totally fine. Is this normal?

    Only pussies do it surgically.

REAL men (or women) cut it by licking bush knives and sterilizing the cut with a bottle of moonshine.

I had to Google that. I guess it's uncommon, but not abnormal. Everyone has different desires, i don't think it's any worse than piercing holes in your ears and hanging metal or plastic ornaments from it, but hey society has come to except ear piercings as normal, so who has the right to dictate how normal whatever you decide to do to your tongue is.

I thought it looked cool. I can't say that I'd get it for myself, but if definitely wouldn't mind knowing or dating someone with it:)

Make sure you find a doctor who knows what he's doing.

When you get your tounge split it isn't noticable becaue it sticks together most of the time, like regular tongue, until you pull them apart.

Check out youtube, they have videos showing examples and how it moves.

I personally find them unnattractive but facinating.

Also, keep in mind getting it stitched back up hurts x2 as much as getting the surgery done. So make sure you want it forever!

Despite the judgemental peers you see before you I think it's very normal. We all want to change our appearence, just some more drastically than others.
