Is it normal to want to be more than friends with your bestfriend

Ok so my best friend and me have only known each other for a couple months. We got super close really fast and. And when I'm around him I just want to hug him and tell him that I truly like him because we already tell each other almost everyday that we love each other but only as friends but I just wish that it was easy to tell him the truth

Just tell him! Trust me! Guys hide their feelings towards girls because they're afraid of denial..if you were open about it then maybe he'll confess that he likes you too.. Go for it! Otherwise you'll regret it.

I'm in the same situation! We hug eachother and say i love you(as a friend) but then again he has a girlfriend! :( he has told me he likes me and stuff.. But i just gave up on him.. We're still good friends though. But i suggest you just tell him! :)

Most people say you need to be friends before you get into a relationship and you followed there advice well! I say go for it! I've lost too many possible relationship not...and nothings worse than after the fallout and a year later you find out he's always liked you.

id say so, you two are real close, and since you are best friends already, you know alot about each other and probably have a lot in common. The only downside to dating a best friend is that your friendship might be strained if it dont work out.

Awww that's sooo romantic! I have a best friend that's a guy (and were not together) and every time he sees me he puts his arms around my waist and says he loves me! One day we went out to watch a movie like friends would do and he started touching my face and he kissed me! He told me he liked me but he just wanted to be friends and the next day he made out with me again and he couldn't stop smiling and neither could I then he came to my house after school and we talked on the patio then he left and came back around night when everyyone was asleep and we laid on the grass and watched the stars then he asked me if we could be more then friends because he couldn't resist me and after that I said yes I'll be your girlfriend then I rolled over and kissed him and made out and he started kissing me neck and he said he loved me so much and I said I love him too and he started toongue kissing me then we fell asleep on the grass and the next day I went to his house because his parents were gone and I told my parents I was sleeping over at my friends house and I spent the whole weekend with my boyfriend and he's still my boyfriend now because this happened last week! So yes its normal!

This is a delicate matter and he may or may not feel the same.

If you truly cannot take it anymore, you should tell him. Be prepared for the worst. He might say no, but he might also say yes. I can't be too sure as I don't know either of you personally. If he says no, the friendship might not be the same anymore. It depends on what sort of guy he is.

It'd be great if he loves you as well, in that way; it'd make a nice love story. Good luck. I'm rooting for you.
