Is it normal to want to be different than everyone?
I develop quirks and sometimes exaggerate stories to differentiate myself from everyone, especially my friends. It just feels good to not be like them, to have something to myself!
I think this may seem like attention whore behaviour... But I only do it when I'm at school with my friends and most times I avoid them altogether or be with the one friend I don't feel I have to be different from. It's only specific people I enjoy being different from - and I don't really like them anyway (friend issues).
On my days off, I adore being alone and with my family and have no urge to be different and never contact my friends unless they drop me a message - even then I don't really keep up contact.
So, is this normal?
