Is it normal to want to be able to go back to save somebody?

I only got to grow up with my uncle Gary my childhood when I was in Ohio, and a bit back I learned more of his family. I got to know his only cousins secondhand and from people they've been around. Gustav survived world war two and lived until 2003. His younger brother died in New Guinea February 17th 1944. I wish I could be able to go back and save Robert from dying. Is it normal to want to go back to save him?

    Yes it's normal... I used to wish I could go back and call my dads motel room before he pulled the trigger and killed himself but thats not possible.. It's just a what if
