Is it normal to want to be a villain?

Is it normal to want to be a villain?

For instance, Moriarty would be the first choice of the type of villain. I'm meaning in real life, as well.

I want power. I want people to remember me, even if it's as a horrible person.

I have been identified as a sociopath (one who does not "activate" certain emotions when a time would call for them.)

My greatest fear is being forgotten.
I want to be a villain, a criminal of sorts. I want to see people cower when they hear my name...

Is it normal to be this in to being a villain?

It's normal to want fame, attention and power. However, your villain fantasy is naive and childish and will only get you hurt. Most real villains go to prison or get killed. Some become very successful business men or politicians. Sociopaths can often be powerful leaders..but again, they end up in prison, murdered, executed or worse- forgotten, actively erased or altered by those who vanquished them. History is full of these examples we just don't usually call them villains. We call them criminal, tyrant, warlord, terrorist, dictator, televangelist, president...etc.

Villain? I haven't heard that word in a long time. Except in comic books or Marvel movies. Why not become a malefactor instead?
