As of writing the manhunt for the second bombing suspect of the Boston Marathon is still ongoing. The first was killed in a firefight. I'm really hoping the second guy can be taken in alive and serve a justice for the crimes committed. Plus get insight into how their twisted little minds work.
A quick death would be too easy for scum like that.
I pretty much want all criminals to be captured alive. Serious criminals can be studied and perhaps society can learn to prevent similar criminal activity sooner. This can prevent two tragedies, the potential criminal throwing away their life's potential and stop there being more victims of crime.

This kid is not a trained terrorist. If/when he returns to health it won't take long for interrogators to break him. Will they find anything useful from him? Not likely, if these kids truly were operating on their own. Closure is about the best we can hope for. In the long run it is better to kill them all in action. Save the tax payer money that's wasted in the courts/penal system.
I think it's very normal, and I agree; a live terrorist is someone who can help law enforcement and negotiators understand more about how these people think. If these guys didn't act alone, it's also an opportunity to find out about any Chechyen terrorist organizations to which they might have belonged.

Most terrorists have a very clear goal and take credit for their acts, so we can't learn much more than we already know from them.

Well generally I refrain from even acknowledging peons like him, however if he presents me with an opportunity to educate the masses on humanity's greatest threat-Islam, then I take advantage of it.

There is a 'last resort' option to defeating muslims in the West, a group of a few thousand people waging direct warfare (or jihad) against them, but in a pro-Islamic climate that we have now, the state would move to defend the muslims and destroy the infidel (non-muslim) resistance movement as they're doing in Europe today.
