Is it normal to want obama to win again?

I totally understand why people do NOT want him to have a second term but I'm curious to see what would happen if he did have a second term. Despite being agonizingly slow on a couple of issues, he has not been that bad. I don't know. I don't what this to turn into a racial, hate-filled, debate so please be NICE when you comment. EVERYONE IS ALLOWED TO HAVE THEIR OWN OPINION SO DON'T DISRESPECT ONE ANOTHER!

Maybe so. But then why plaster yourself all over their magazine and promise things you never intend to deliver. Just for votes. That's why. It could have been any president. I would have felt the same.

Businesses fail. That's how capitalism works. Unions are running this country- they need to be disassembled. This isn't West Virginia coal country in the early days- the need for unions is gone.

I still like Obama. Our country was crap to begin with, so how much did people really expect him to get done? For the most part, he helped my dad out a lot. Yeah, our Country is still in deep shit, but I guarentee you our next president, everyone will hate too.

Yeah, but he had a wait and see attitude, had no clue what to do, shipped us down the river, and made a bunch of promises that didnt get made, all the whille, blaming the republicans for everything. What a hippocrit.

Kind of a repeat of the Carter Administration, isnt it?

    Exactly Valkeer!

No one wants to stand for what they believe in because of political correctness gone rampant.

  • Newt = ZZZzzzz

Anyway. I would have voted for Obama in 2012 but his absolute indifference towards Libya has changed my mind.

A leader's worth is determined by his actions, not his words. We need people who can make their face hard against the masses and do what they believe is right regardless of the consequences.

Well if Newt is the Republican nominee...

ItDuz, What pisses you off more? The fact that a black man won, or that black people were allowed to vote. Obama got the black vote, and Hillary got the female vote, and mcCain got the bigot vote. No candidate will get in on skills alone, it's all about how they market themselves and who can get more of the minority vote. But I don't get the sense that you are willing to actually do anything other than bitch about it.

    • Im not pissed about anything I was just stating a fact that people think one of their own being president than one that woulddo more good for them even though they forget one of their own is one of everyones.

"one of their own" This could mean republicans as well.

And if you're not angry, you're not paying attention.

  • You are kidding right? the only reason he actualy became president is because black people voted for him purely because he is black (I dont mean all black people did this) But most of them did it is painfully obvious. Having a black president isnt good or bad I think it doesnt matter what skin colour you are aslong as you can lead but obviously those skills arent why he was put as president it was his colour that got him there.

I vote. It's amazing how many people don't. When they complain, I always ask them if they voted. They usually say no. Shame really.

    Good rally with you!!

Guess the only thing that can be done is VOTE!
I don't care what peoples opinions are, as long as they have educated reasoning and they exercise their right to vote.

I really don't have a REAL problem with him except for one thing. My husband is a teamster. Obama portrayed himself for the working person. He had had his picture plastered all over the Teamster magazine saying how hard he will work for the union. Well.....needless to say, the company my husband works for is the nations largest trucking company. They are failing because of the economy. We will be lucky if my husband has a job in the next couple of months. The teamsters have gone to Washington for help. Nothing. It's just quite frustrating when banks get bailed out and not giving even a supporting hand for the nations largest trucking company. Not asking for a total bailout, just a jump start. It makes me see Obama as two faced. Disappointed.
