Is it normal to want my ex-girlfriend back?

My ex and I had a very toxic/unhealthy relationship. Now she has left the state, but for some reason I still wish she was mine... She has a new boyfriend and is clearly over me, but I know she still has feelings for me and I for her.... Why can't I let her go? Why do I want her back? Have you ever been in this situation? Do you have any advice for me?

Thank You in advance -J.

It's normal to still have feelings for her but if it was toxic then don't bother. You'll just keep getting hurt.

Start working out, get an education, an awesome job, and be better than she could ever hope for. Then when you are at a point in your life when you can look at yourself and feel proud. Ask yourself if you still want her.

if it was unhealthy or toxic then u r really r better off w/o her. it can b tough to move on, but id say, a general rule of thumb is that if ur unhappy alone, ur not ready for a relationship. it sux, i know, but for your future happiness u need to start working on urself.
