Is it normal to want kids when you're 13?

I'm almost 18 years old, and I've wanted kids since I was 12-13. Of course, I didn't want kids right then and there, but I was positive that I wanted lots if children when I grew up. And it hasn't changed; I still want children. And I also want to, and wanted to, go through pregnancy and childbirth. I knew about the pain, but I really, really wanted to give birth. Is it normal to want to get pregnant and have kids on such a young age?

    Yeah, like other people said, its motherly instinct, a lot of people have it and its perfectly healthy. just dont act on it before you are defininitly ready e.g a having a good father and enough money to support your family. :)

    It's a womans instinct. Of course you want to nurture and love your children, when you're ready that is.

    ive had it since 2 years ago when i was 14
    i so badly want a son and grow he up to be like hes granddad (my dad )
    and be a gentleman and never afraid of anything .
    Well i'd prepare him for the future .

    Yeah I think it's normal. Ur a female and have the motherly instinct. When I was around that age I always said that I didn't want children but as I grew older I started to think differently. I would like to have two children. But not until I'm well settled and marry my wonderful bf. ^_^
