Is it normal to want her to myself?

I have been with my girlfriend for 18 months and we live together, we work and we chill at home together. But when the weekend rolls round I dread it because I feel like she would rather go out and get drunk than be with me. I'm never invited out and she hates me and her friends being around eachother. Thing is, she doesn't just go out and then come home she stays out all night and it really upsets me in the morning waking up without her??

If she would love she would spent that time with you instead of drinking.

How old are you and how old is she? Really, the fact that your hurt speaks volumes.. Good friends don't do this too each other.. Even though you love her things like this have to well matched in couples.

    • meaning either confront her and lay it all out on the table about how u feel in an attempt to try to make things better, or leave her. (either shit of get off the pot lol), ok ill stop now. good luck, seriously.

    • spiffy LOL no no no i didnt mean pot as in marijuana, i meant pot as they used to use in the old days to shit/pee in, hence the saying either shit or get off the pot lol, sorry for the misunderstanding. wait... r u messing w me? lol

The more recent comments are more reassuring especially as I do trust her and I know she isn't cheating I think we need to meet half way I think she's realising more that the drinking causes arguments and that she doesn't have to drink to socialise which means she is maturing

  • maybe shes not into u anymore and find you boring for her (since u say u just wanna chill and stuff), but maybe shes too afraid or too much of a coward to tell u and to break up with u.either way u need to man up and either shit or get off the pot, cause thats gonna start to bring your self-esteem down, if not already.

Put her in a romantic chokehold and tell her nicely by screaming at her, "QUIT GOING OUT WITHOUT ME YA BOOZEHOUND BITCH!". Works for my future wives.

Aww I'm sorry that you're being mistreated hon. You need to talk to her. She's clearly taking your kindness as weakness. Lay down the law and don't be afraid to show your manly aggressive side. She sounds like she has some maturing to do. If she can't catch up to your level then you might want to try to find someone better suited for you. There are tons of girls out there looking for a guy like you. Trust me.

Well its somewhat normal if you don't see her much during the week at all. But if not, you sound a little too protective and insecure. You cannot change the ways of her wanting to socialize with her friends and what not. If you try putting a hold on her, she will want to do it more.

There's generally two obvious solutions: 1. learn to just accept the way she is. or 2. part ways, because you two seem to have clashing personalities (you being a hermit, and her being outside socializer)
