Just like it says. Is it normal? Now I know what asexuality is and I know I am not that, I have had enough sex through life and I could basically just take it or leave it. To me it's like going to the bathroom, you have to do it, and I guess to an extent it's a relief but if I had to "sweet talk" the bathroom into letting me in, well I'd probably just take a piss outside.

    It's probably common. A lot of people only have sex cause their partner expects it.

        Well rape would be without consent. But I've willingly had sex even though I didn't like it...it's not ideal of course.

    If sex is just "meh" you're doing it wrong. There are others out there that seek the same kind of relationship as you though, most of them aren't human though. Perhaps a pet would brighten your day/life/whatever.

      The accepted stereotype is to be a sexual dynamo, especially if you are a man. Plenty of guys are not like that and just put on a show when younger to avoid being ostracized, or even worse, labeled as gay. OP, and it reads like a man wrote it, is probably reaching a point where he just doesn't care anymore and is probably expressing such.

        We must run in different circles. I know one guy in his 70's that can only get it up once about every 2 weeks and that's if he uses a penis pump to get there. You better believe he never stops wanting to poke it into his wife, but every 2 weeks is all he can manage. I'm betting he goes on that way until he dies.

        If you "don't care anymore" that sounds like the cover for a guy that has a frigid wife or she's let herself go and it's attractive. If I was bound to one woman and she when ugly on me, I'd probably lose interest too.

      I hope I don't make it to that age. I know for men having less testosterone can make things more... difficult, but I'm not sure it's for lack of wanting to. In my experience, most women get more sexually charged as they get older and lose inhibitions, but YMMV I suppose.
