Is it normal to want a weird job?

I want a weird job. It's bad enough trying to find a job at all in this economy, but I want to do something different. All of my past work experience has been in food service and health care, but now I want to try doing something unique, strange, or even dangerous. I'd like to be doing something that most people don't want to do. I would consider many options if only I knew where to look. Is this normal? And does anyone have any advice on where to look for a weird job?

Well, you have an advantage in that you'd be happy doing something that others don't want to do. What about being one of those people who work down in the sewers?

Yeah now that sounds like a dirty job! I'd definitely consider it though!

Glad you brought that up because that thought came to mind yesterday, after years of not even thinking about it. I need to get my passport.
