Is it normal to want a strong sense of community?

Online and in real life, I want to belong to some sort of community. Mainly a website, popular with friends on it, etc., but I can never do that. I don't know what it is I just feel like I'm not apart of anything. I want to be, but I don't know what, and how.

I see myself as a 'leaders' dog' type thing.

I joined a sports team and I really like that sense of community and trust.

That sounds great, but where I live, your parents have to have signed you up at age 5 in order to be apart of any sports team. You have to start young and stick with it. If they get any newcomers that aren't even in the same social group(s), they're left alone.

I tried track for a year, and although I was the weird, looks-like-she's-gonna-start-a-school-shooting kind, people were really nice to me. Thanks! Good to know it worked out for you :3

Try the Kongregate website. While it ismainly used for uploading your own games and playing other people's games, if you make an account, there's always people willing to talk (though sometimes you have to find another chat room, which is easy, just click the change chat room button). Most people on the site are pretty friendly. If you can't find a chat room, click on their search box and type 'Just Chatting'. Click on the first result. It is a game with a chat roomwhere I have always found people willing to talk. If yyou get on, messagee me. My username is 'Gartonia'.

I'm not popular by any means, but I do observe people. If anything I think just actively participating in a website, or life, and talking to people will probably make you popular.

Eh, I'll try. I don't know I just can never find something 'perfect'. :(
