Is it normal to want a online gf

It's normal. I had an online bf and we liked the same things music etc and we spoke from 10pm to 3am every day but after a month or so it gets to that point where you realise that this is all that it is ever going to be. You don't get to do all that romantic crap like holding hands, going to a restaurant, the movies etc. It's even worse when the person lives outside of your country and you find yourself getting more and more attached to this person everyday. I suppose it's great if you live near each other because trust me you will want to meet this person. Go for it with caution.

As with all internet relationships (romantic or friendly) you should be careful. The person you've fallen for might not be who they claim to be. For example: Your girlfriend might actually be a man or serial killer/ rapist. Just be careful. Most internet relationships are real, but depending on where you to live it could become a long term relationship, which should be fine.
