Yes, I think its normal. Just tell her you'd like to try something new that you thought was interesting. I'm sure if she likes you as much as you like her, she'll accept all of you. Now, seriously: I think your desires are OK, no need to be ashamed of them. However, we cannot predict how your girlfriend will react or what she will think. As I wrote above, I am a submissive male, too but I did not have the courage to admit my desires in my previous relationships. My current girlfriend is the only person who knows about my submissive desires and I had the courage to "come out" only when we were living together for a year or so and I had all the evidence that she is unusual (weird in the most positive meaning of the word) as well, open, tolerant, acceptable etc...
