Okay me and my boyfriend are really in love and we plan on getting married and having kids we're young but really in love. I know I can't have one now and I'm not trying to get pregnant but I want a baby sooo badly. It kinda freaks him out because he doesn't want one until after college. Is it normal to really want one though?
I have so much college to get through. I want to wait and have kids until I get a nice job and can support myself.
I get weird maternal longings when I see someone with a baby though. But that can wait!! For me at least. I guess just seriously think about what you are getting yourself into.
I have been really broody since I was about 16 but never broody enough to want to be a young parent...
Now i'm 22 and glad I haven't got pregnant because i'm travelling and experiencing things in the world which you can't do if you have a child (unless you're mad).
I think about 25 is a nice age for a woman to start having children.
Totally try thinking about really amazing things u could be doing with yourselves as a couple!? Things u couldn't without a babysitter or extra cash.. Spending money on the two of u so u can grow as people a little n become someone with something to offer to your baby.
I had one, we weren't ready but then we wanted her so bad n we were so happy until she was born at six months as premature :( let's say there were complications. She was just too small. Five days after i delivered her c- section, we had to say Goodbye to our baby girl in our arms. She was my first which I always wanted a girl my whole life.. This just happened last Oct.! Like u,i wanted a baby young, but the pregnancy was nothing like i thought all happy n nice... No it was hell! I was throughing up the whole six months! We had no idea it would be that hard but were so excited everyday that we were expecting. I had done all my research n was in line with all the help n all set. We bought things for her arrival, oh so much we were sooo excited.. Now life is so different that we went through that. We could not keep her or have her n we had no idea that something like that would happen to us. Now is pretty much like how it used to be before her but with a big lesson, a deep pain, and some good advice to enjoy your mother fuckin life that's all I'm sayin' ...if it happens good luck n appreciate every moment. I am young n I will try again... Cuz there was nothing wrong with me or her, these things just happen. But the doc says the body likes to wait two years before another. Now were pretty bummed about it we have had some time but it isn't that easy as it sounds. Now I have to visit my baby's 'spot'. If you do have one just know that it is the most special thing that will ever happen. I think about her everyday, all the time :( its not just a baby it's a life, a miracle!
Just remember that they are people, and require a BIG commitment. You can't just put it away when you've had your fun. Waiting until later means you have the time and money to take care of a baby. Sounds like right now, you would have to juggle a lot.
