You can be anything that you want to be. If you like both the Christian and Wica religions, take the parts you like most from each and make your own religion - there are no set rules - do what makes you happy and is not going to hurt anyone else or be illegal.

From a bias point of view; If you're a Christian, stick to Christianity. After experiencing both Christianity and Wicca, the former helped me stay on as steady path, and the latter dragged me into a dangerous obsession.

If you don't feel it's safe, don't do it.

Witch and genuine Christian opposite. Better pick which u want. You really can't combine them.

Alright first off from a Christians point of view witch craft is evil and dangerous. So a Christian wanting to become a witch is not normal at all. However if being a witch is normal by today standards is a completely different matter which I cant really answer. I just know I am staying away from it in case it does work.

Wicca is different from Satanism, if that is what you are worried about. One word of caution: Don't do black magic. I hear that stuff can be dangerous. Otherwise, I think that you should go with your heart and take it up. Good luck.

Follow your heart ,your soul and your spirit.Try not to do things because people want you to,it looks cool or anything of that nature.Form your own revelation and path through research and what you you want .Remember though, religion among many other things carry stereotypes as long as you are prepared for it whether you are christian or wiccan you should be okay. ( For the record this is coming a wiccan )

If you're truly Christian then you know the witch stuff isn't a good idea for you. If you're not sure what you believe or want to follow you just need to study up on both and choose what you want.

    Hiya,

I was baptised in a panic. I luv all that pagan stuff and always will, but if you're worried about it not being safe don't do it.

Witch means wise on the old language. Witches are noted as healers. Not to be feared. Those whose practice the craft are pagans or neopagans, which is safe. Be wary of the satanists of which are not so safe, however I am not saying that the people of practice are generally bad people just 90% of the world would disagree. I myself grew up Christian but felt more connected as a Wiccan. Funny enough I am dating a Christian. Be who you want to be, what is right for you!

    Blessed be

  • What is the meaning of witch? Someone who practices magic? Someone who heals? Someone who puts curses? There's many different kinds of witches in the world...

spell or prayer, what's the difference. pagan or christian, again, just two religions. though, christians have no tolerance to witch craft, so you will have to keep it all a secret.

People in a lot of different religions practice magic of some form or another.

I had someone tell me once that if you're a christian then you can just call on an angel or saint when casting spells (instead of a pagan god or other deity). Though there are plenty of spells that are just simple chants though and don't require rituals or invoking deities.

Of course a lot of people either believe that magic isn't real or that it's not the spell itself that works but your belief in it causes the desired outcome.

I want to become a wizard. Realisticly though, it's not gonna happen. So why not get lost in the fantasy.
