Is it normal, to wake up disoriented?

I usually take naps during the day and these naps can sometimes last around 4 hours. Lately, when I wake up I find myself being extremely disoriented. I feel heavy and like I'm in a daze. Sometimes, I don't know the person who woke me up and sometimes I don't even know who I am. There's been times where I've attack whoever was trying to wake me up and I didn't really feel in control of my actions. Today, my confusion lasted a bit longer. I ate my lunch very confused and half awake. I browsed on here and immediately woke up when I read a post. I don't think any of this is normal. At first, I thought it was caused by sleeping deeply, but I used to do it all of the time and not have this problem. I do have mood and mental issues that have never been properly diagnosed so, perhaps this issue is being caused by them? IIN?

a doctor can answer this better than any of us.

only thing i can suggest is an alarm clock that wakes you up during the lightest part of your sleep cycle.

and then go to the doctor.

it could be mood / mental issues. or it could also be a physical condition too.
