Is it normal to wake up at a certain trime every morning?

For the past 7 or 8 years I'll go through what seems to be about every 2 months a straight period for a month or two where every morning I wake up @ 4:11. I'll set my digital alarm clock ahead 20 or so minutes and back every so often but still wake up @ 4:11AM. I went to Mich. from Colo. on vacation a few weeks ago where the time zone is 2 hours later than Colo. and still woke up @ 4:11AM. I'll sometimes wake up and lay in bed thinking if I look @ the clock it'll be 4:11AM so I'll just lay there for what seems like 10 minutes or so and then I'll look over @ the clock it'll be 4:11AM. Something out of the ordinary happened the other morning. I felt I was in a really deep sleep when something really wanted me to what I felt look @ the clock. It felt like I was almost being shaken so I looked @ the clock and it was 4:11AM. I'm a pretty conservative guy but but have no idea what this is???

Yes, this is rather normal. The last 25 years of my working career, I got up at 4:30AM seven days a week. (Sunday I didn't need to, but my inner clock apparently was set.)
Now that I am retired, I still get up early but after about a year, and telling myself that I really didn't need to get up, I finally am getting up at 5:45AM.
    Good luck friend.

Here is a question. Do you drink alcohol? Many times people who drink a lot, will be waken up by the bodies urge to have more alcohol. Yeap - and you will wake up at the same time every night.

I believe in the power of the brain and now you are so fixated on it that you have programed you brain to wake you up at 4:11.
    .
Tell yourself every night before you go to bed, what time you want to wake up the next morning.

I will say to myself - I will wake up at 6:30am. I always do. I never need an alarm clock. I love that!

The body has muscle and time memory and you just have to reprogram yourself. You have become obsessed with 4:11 -4:20 is better (he he).

It really works! If it's alcohol related, don't drink too much or too close to going to bed or just quite.

Have you always woken up at this particular time, or is this something new?

It is so weird, but happens to me all the time. I have no idea why.

Many people will have many different theories on what that means I would just say let life or God or whatever it is sort that out for you, I definitely think there is a reason, but don't let anyone tell you what that reason is, if their is a God, he will make it known soon enough.
