Is it normal to vote on stories/polls not directed at you?

for example, if a poll asks only for Guys or Girls opinions, and you are of the gender NOT asked, do you still vote whatever you think is the "correct" answer, or are you a good person and just skip to see the results?

It really depends on the story/poll. If I think it would adversely affect the results, then no. If it's just random, I might, though I don't think I've come across that yet.

If I just wanted to give a female opinion or even just a factual opinion, I'd post a comment. That's what this is for.

Oh, and sometimes I just forget to vote anyway.

    I'm (usually) a good person.
I press skip on polls to see the results.
If the person made it as a story, I'll sometimes vote so I can see the answer. (which is now slightly offset)
